We all experience it. Batteries in our phones never keep up with the abuse and use we put them through. Not to mention those cases where we had a brain fart and forgot to charge the phone.
Remember these 3 tips:
This is not something reserved only for the jet set crew. Clicking this toggle immediately turns off your WiFi, Bluetooth and Mobile Data service. Our phones aren't just sitting statically waiting for us to interact again. They are constantly looking for and maintaining the signals from the closest cell tower and/or your router in the basement. Turn on airplane mode and give the phone some rest.
The brighter the screen the more energy required. Most of the time you don't really need it cranked up. Try adjusting it way down in darker rooms and then back up when needed. Truly a simple and effective juice saving method.
Many apps on your phone (especially social media apps) periodically check for updates. This is great when you can bounce in and out of Facebook's news feed and not have to wait for it to update. At the same time, this convenience is burning down that battery.
