Once you know how to take a screenshot, they inevitably start accumulating in your photo library. That leads to periodically combing back through the last several months to delete these or admitting screenshot bankruptcy (a.k.a. ignore them).

There is a feature in iOS 8 that I am sure most parents don't even know exists. It is called Guided Access and it is a parent's best friend. Once enabled the current app is locked. Your kid cannot use the volume, sleep or home buttons until the set time limit ends or you disable it.
One thing we can all agree about is the speed at which life flashes by these days. All of us have somewhere to be, something to remember, and the tension to keep it all duct taped together. Our options for organizing this life and all the places we are pushed and pulled are overwhelming. At times too many options can actually be detrimental. This is a perfect case.

We all experience it. Batteries in our phones never keep up with the abuse and use we put them through. Not to mention those cases where we had a brain fart and forgot to charge the phone.
In a previous blog post I had opined about life without a PC. Not life without a computer, but one where all your computer needs and wants are met in a mobile only package. Specifically asking the question, can I get rid of my PC and use an iPad instead?

Every shiny new iPhone comes with a Weather app for a reason. Weather is universal. All of us benefit from having it at our fingertips. Most of us settle for the stock app, but there is a better way.
I am an app addict. No phone or tablet is worth anything if there are not great apps to download.
